University Heights Christian Church

Families are important to us. Because of that, kids are a priority. When in our care, staff and volunteer care-givers, teachers and sponsors strive to make children feel three things: safe, loved and important.

Kids do best when they feel safe. Safety is also important to moms and dads. Thus, this is non-negotiable in everything we do.

Every child is precious and treated as such. We communicate our love primarily in what we say and how we say it.

We make kids feel important in many ways. In addition to helping them have a biblically-healthy self-esteem, we strive to be encouragers. One of the best ways we communicate how important each child is, is by how diligently we teach him or her the Bible.

We provide programming for children and youth that covers a variety of ages and settings. Below are the regular activites provided for our children.

BtK (Birth through Kindergarten) is our Sunday morning programming for infants, preschoolers, and Kindergarteners from 9:15 am until the worship service ends. The children hear a bible story and have plenty of time to play and have fun.

Sunday School Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 am. We have 2 classes: one for elementary students and one for teens.

SNY (Sunday Night Youth) Sunday evening from 4:30 to 6 pm, twice a month. This is for youth Kindergarten through 12th grade. A great opportunity for bible study, snacks and games.
