University Heights Christian Church is committed to helping persons in need, especially those who live and/or work in the immediate neighborhood. Because of this commitment, the church has compiled a list (scroll down) of community services that addresses a variety of potential needs.
(Please note that the inclusion of an organization does not mean that the church endorses its mission, policies or procedures. This list is provided as a public service only. The church is not responsible for any denial of benefits or services.)
Because of the abundance of local resources we actively provide financial and/or practical support to some of them (i.e., food pantry & crisis pregnancy center). When persons contact the church for help with food, clothing, shelter or money, we typically suggest they contact the appropriate ministry or organization.
This approach maximizes the church's limited resources and the expertise already found in the community.
